Empty Checking with Derek Brink

Things went sideways! Twice! In different ways! There's about to be a Fab 15 episode, but it'll be a little later this week. So here's where we are in the meantime.

In this week's episode, I talk about the last couple of years of Doctor Who with particular focus on Jodie Whittaker's final episode. Then I get into music and talk about the recent releases from Paramore, Feist, The Hold Steady, Manchester Orchestra, and Metallica. And I close out the show by begging for money. In a format I suddenly remembered I used to do sometimes, here's a super-short "FAST CASH" episode of the show, where we're out in like 20 minutes. In it, I give my thoughts on Mel Brooks' "History of the World Part II" which is now streaming on Hulu. There's some spoiler-ish stuff, so bear that in mind.
